Ken represents the Outboard Boating Club of Auckland on the TBF.  He is very active in boating and salt water fishing circles and presently holds a number of positions:

- Former member of the OBC Executive Committee, and

- Boat Safety Inspector for the OBC Ak,

- NZTBF delegate for various industry groups,

- Member of the Executive Committee of the TBF,

Ken is Managing Director of his own plumbing company and resides in St Heliers in Auckland.
