NZTBF Structure

The New Zealand Trailer Boat Federation consists of its member clubs. It is managed by a committee of mostly* volunteer 'Dominion Elected Councillors' (or 'DEC' for short).  Refer to Contact Details

The DEC consists of the following officers and Area and Industry delegates:-

  •     President

  •     Vice Presidents (2)

  •     Secretary

  •     Treasurer

    Area Delegates for the following districts:-

  •     Northland

  •     North Harbour

  •     South Harbour

  •     Waikato

  •     Rotorua/Bay of Plenty

  •     Hawkes Bay

  •     Taranaki

  •     South Taranaki to Cook Strait

  •     Nelson/Marlborough

  •     Canterbury

    Industry Delegates for the following bodies and industry sectors:-

  •     Watersafety NZ,

  •     Small Boat Safety Committee,

  •     Boating Industries Association,

  •     Auckland Harbour Users Association,

  •     Coast Guard Boating Education and

  •     New Zealand Recreational Fishing Council (NZRFC).

Representation is also established from time to time with many other organisations with nautical interests.

DEC meetings are held approximately every three months with an Annual General Meeting held between the 1st day of June and 30th day of August of each year.
