| Past IssuesTe Urewera National Park Plan - Banning of Boats The Department of Conservation released their proposed 10 year management plan for the Te Urewera National Park. This plan amongst other things, proposed the immediate banning of jet boats and jet skis as well as giving the Minister of Conservation the power to ban all boats from Lake Waikaremoana without requiring further legislative authority.
